Rosemary D. (Mueller) Courtwright Dolphin, 92, of Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday. Heaven received an Angel and her family was left with many wonderful memories to hold in their heart. She lived most of her life on the Northside of Syracuse and was a resident of Bridgeport and currently resided in Liverpool. Rosemary sang with the Liederkranz Chorus, the Berwald's Chorus and the North Syracuse Community Singers. Rosemary was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Courtwright in 1981 and second husband, Bert Dolphin in 2005. Rosemary was also predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Herman "Skip" Mueller.
She leaves behind her daughters, Sharon Schantz and Diane (Laurence) Zacharek; grandchildren, Stephen and Amanda Schantz, Eric Zacharek and Kate (Craig) Zacharek Lane; sisters, Helen Miller and Lorraine Knittel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 10Am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
