Rosemary Butkins

Rosemary Butkins, 102, formerly of Clay, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Rosemary was born in Syracuse on September 22, 1918.
She was past president of St. Anthony of Padua Altar Rosary Society and was an active member of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. Rosemary was an avid painter & gardener. She enjoyed reading to her grandchildren and teaching them her family recipes. At holiday time, her home was always the center of family gatherings. She also volunteered at North Area Meals on Wheels.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, Percy; daughters, Joan Krull and Barbara Beckwith; and son, John Butkins.
She is survived by daughters, Tina (Hank) Bustin and Valerie (Don) Robbins; sons, Peter Butkins and Bob Butkins; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; along with many beloved nieces & nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 1, 202 at 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Geddes.
A celebration of Rosemary's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, Food Pantry.
