Rosemary M. Amendola, 85, of Syracuse passed away on Sunday peacefully at Van Duyn Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Roger, Sr. and Esther Amendola. Rosemary graduated from Franciscan Academy and attended LeMoyne College. She retired after many years of service from the Onondaga County Library System. Rosemary liked to read & always loved to chat with her clients and encouraged them to read. She loved animals, especially cats. She fed and found homes for many stray cats. She volunteered at the local Zoo and at the Humane Association. She also enjoyed her summer trips to Cape Cod. She was predeceased by her twin brother Roger Amendola, Jr.
