Rose Ann Rossi

Rose Ann Rossi passed away peacefully on December 1 at the age of 102, at Loretto Nursing Home.
Originally from Bristol, RI, her family moved to Syracuse when she was 8 years old. One of 14 children, she was small in stature with a Goliath personality and spunk to match.
Rose loved to cook for her growing family. When not whipping up meatballs you'd find her at the bingo hall trying to clean them out of house and home. Her family will remember her as a songbird at heart, always ready with a playful tune and a dance at hand. A bit of mischief and unpredictability about her kept you on your toes until the very end.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, John, sons Gerald and David, and daughter, Karen. She is survived by her children Gloria Rossi, John Noel (Ticia) Rossi, Donna (John) Gravante, Jeannie Glenny, Cathy (Allen) West, James (Carolyn) Rossi and daughter-in-law, Deborah Rossi, as well as 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, 12/12 at 10am at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to the American Cancer Society or Francis House.
