Rose Marie Bontempo, 89, of Lavallette, NJ passed away Friday in Syracuse, NY.
She was the daughter of Francis and Catherine Holl and sibling of 10 children.
Rose Marie was married for 47 years to Alfonso Bontempo.
A wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was known for her love of her Irish heritage, dancing, bingo and Betty Boop.
A lifelong employee of the bank, Rose Marie retired from PNC Bank to the Jersey Shore.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America; the Rosary & Altar Society; and the Betty Boop Fan Club.
She is predeceased by her husband, Alfonso; her parents; her siblings Albert E. Holl, Kay Smith, Frank Holl, Ann Holl Bontempo, and Johnny Holl.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Jill Rush), Daniel (Jay Bauer) and James; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; her brother, William Holl and sisters, Eileen Sinnott, Dorothy Mirande and Mary Marion.
A Funeral Mass was held in Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Central New York, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
