Rose M. Slinde, 83, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday at home. She was born in Binghamton, NY. Rose worked many years at Swanson's Dry Cleaners and was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to bingo and camping.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Roy R. D'Agostino and their son, Roy; her second husband, Robert C. Slinde; and granddaughter, Lisa D'Agostino; four siblings, Mary Picciotti, Carmella Tierney, Tommy and Tony Iovannisci.
Rose is survived by her children, Robert (Amy) D'Agostino, Linda D'Agostino, both of Syracuse, Jim (Valerie) D'Agostino of CA, John D'Agostino of, Fl and Joe (Eve) D'Agostino of GA.; five grandchildren, William Morris, Christina Sherman, Michael, Anthony and Gina D'Agostino; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-7 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. Services will be Tuesday, 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
