Rose M. DePhillips Johnson, 86, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at James Square Nursing Home in Syracuse, New York.
Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace Vitacco DePhillips.
Rose, along with her husband, Alfred owned and operated Flick-Orrick Travel in Syracuse retiring in 1990. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Liverpool, New York.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred L. Johnson who died in 2002.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Marc J. Johnson, Esq. and Dr. Julie Evey-Johnson; four grandchildren, Matthew Burkey, Branden Burkey, Courtney Johnson and Brianna Johnson.
Services will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at New Comer Funearl Home, 705 North Main Street, Norht Syracuse, New York. Burial in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private. There will be no calling hours.
