Rose J. Dabieu, 94, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Thursday at home with family by her side. She was born in Watertown on October 10, 1919, daughter of Joseph and Madeline Molinari.
She was predeceased in 1995 by her childhood sweetheart, Roy J. Dabieu, after 54 years of marriage.
Rose graduated from Watertown High School, she retired from Freeman Bus Corp., she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and loved playing Bingo and her trips to the casinos. She enjoyed volunteering at the Mercy Hospital Gift Shop and the Italian-American Club.
Surviving are her children; Carole A. Kirwan (Earl W. George), Bette J. (Robert) Carlson, Laurie L. (Gerald) Bickel, grandchildren; Terry J. (Patricia) Kirwan, Deborah A. (Frank) Rosanio, Timothy J. (Karyn) Kirwan, Julie A. (Donald) Martin, Cynthia M. (Timothy) Curtin, Brittani L. Bickel, 16 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-5pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.
The family would like to thank Hospice of CNY for all their care and support.
