September 23, 1917 — December 1, 2016
Rose Buonocore, 99, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully.
Rose was a resident at Buckley Landing Senior Home. She was born in Hayange, France. Rose was employed by E.W. Edwards as a professional seamstress. She enjoyed word puzzles, playing bingo, weekly pet visits and visits from her grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Alphonse and her son, Robert.
Rose is survived by her son, Gary Buonocore of Harrisburg, PA; two daughters, Karen Powers of Liverpool and Denise Wallace of N. Syracuse; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Whether you called her Rose, Mom, Gram or Aunt Rose, we will always remember the love and humor she brought to our lives.
Rose's family would like to thank the staff at Buckley Landing for all their love and care.
Friends and family may pay their respects to Rose's family on Tuesday, 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Rose will be laid to rest at Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
