Rosalinda Tortorelli

Rosalinda Tortorelli, 81, of Miami, Florida and formerly of Liverpool, NY, passed away at home, on Thursday after a long illness, with her family at her side. She was born in Fort Worth, TX and was a beautiful and energetic lady who was a singer, dancer and a musician. She worked with many of the 50's and 60's biggest stars; to name a few, Jimmy Durante, Connie Francis and Eartha Kitt. She was offered jobs in Las Vegas and Hollywood, but refused them because she wanted to stay with her husband and children. She moved with her family to Florida and became vice president of a major cosmetic company, Cardeaux Faceworks. She was an inspiration to the whole family. She loved our Lord Jesus and she lead many members of her family and friends to the Lord. She will be missed.
She leaves behind her loving husband, George; two sons, George and Perry; two step-children, Thomas and Doreen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Blanca and Dora; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool, NY. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, NY. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
