Rosa E. Salomone, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Canton, NY. At the age of three, her parents moved back to Italy with Rosa. She returned to the United States in 1961 with her husband and four children.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rosa was predeceased by her husband, Livio in 1982.
She is survived by her children, Tullio (Nella) Salomone, Teresa Martilotta, Italo (Hilda) Salomone and Olga Lewis; grandchildren, Sergio, Claudio, Roberto, Steven, David, Daniel, Lisa, John, Thomas and Brenda; and several great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street North Syracuse.
