Ronald J. Sharp, 93, a lifelong resident of Clay passed away on Monday.
Ronald was born on October 12, 1923 the son of the late Athel and Marian Sharp. Ron served in the US Army and was a Prisoner Of War in WW II. He enjoyed his camp in the 1,000 Islands and spending winters in Florida.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Jeanne of 66 years, daughters, Cindy Ketchum, Karen (Steven) McCurdy, grandchildren, Jill (Jody) Giarrusso, Brett (Katie) Ketchum, Joshua McCurdy, Christy McCurdy, Jacob McCurdy, 4 great grandchildren, and sister, Mary Jane Larrabee.
Calling hours will be held at Faith Journey United Methodist Church, 8396 Morgan Rd., Clay on Saturday from 10-11 am, with services to follow.
Burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
