Ronald Mark Procopio, 41, of Ossining, NY was called home on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. He was a native of Syracuse, NY and a 1982 graduate of Liverpool High School. He served in the US Army Reserves for 6 years and then returned to school and graduated from SUNY Utica-Rome with a degree in computer science. He was employed with AT&T in White Plains, NY as a Network Administrator. He was an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf, board games, computer games and cooking. He enjoyed the movies immensely not only for amusement but to critique them. One of his many joys was to play the devil's advocate to get people to think outside their boxes.
Surviving are his mother; Dolores Buddie of Cicero, his father; Ronald John Procopio of Syracuse, two brothers; Michael J. Procopio of Bridgeport and Philip D. Buddie of Central Square, two sisters; Maria Procopio of Georgia and Jamie Procopio of Syracuse, two step sisters; Kim Burton and Kelly Walters, a step brother; Rich McCarthy and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Caughdenoy United Methodist Church. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
