Ronald Lee Schell, 67, went to his eternal rest, March 11, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 20, 1945 to Agnes and Ira Schell in Syracuse, New York. He served during the Vietnam War in the US Army. Ron was employed as an industrial engineer at Crouse-Hinds, where he designed airport and Carrier dome lighting. He retired from Inficon –Leybold before finishing his career at Syracuse China until the plant closed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ann (Justice) Schell; a daughter Christie (Christopher) Mazza; a son, Brian (Lee) Schell; five grandchildren, Jenna, Joshua, Alexander, Sophia and Trevor; a brother, Terrance Schell; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday from 12-1:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will follow at 2PM, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Lakeside Rural Cemetery, Bernhards Bay, New York, immediately after services.
