Ronald I. Stein, 80, of Central Square and Melbourne Beach, Fla. died Friday at Loretto in Syracuse. Ron retired from Crouse Hinds in 1990 following 35 years of service as an Engineer. He was devoted, supportive and very proud of his family. He was a member of Brewerton United Methodist Church. Ron was a US Air Force veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years the former, Frances Singer; a son, Greg (Annette) Stein of Cicero; a brother, Kenneth Stein of Preston, NY; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Kevin Stein; a grand-dog, Harley; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 am at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday form 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
Contributions may be made to Brewerton United Methodist Church.
