Ronald E. Shane, 82, of Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday.
He was born on June 12, 1933 in Syracuse to Edna and Earl, Sr.
On July 2nd, 1966 he married Maryann and they lived in North Syracuse.
He enjoyed watching Syracuse College basketball and football. He loved playing card games with friends. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Korean War.
He is predeceased by his parents and brothers, Richard, John and Earl.
He is survived by his wife Maryann; extended family, Maryann, Kevin, William, Arlene, Donna, Susan; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Services will be Wednesday, 12pm at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Minoa.
Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Francis House or The SPCA.
