Ronald R. Doughty, 79 of Bridgeport, NY, passed away on July 11, 2021.
Born on August 10, 1941 in Syracuse, NY to the late Ronald and Barbara Doughty.
He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy.
He retired from The Teamsters Local #317. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Ronald devoted his life to his loving family, including his dog, Pixie.
He is survived by his children, Adam (Anne) Bradley, Elaine Doughty and Ronald (Doreen)Doughty IV; grandchildren, Amy, Adam II (Jamie), Kendel (Joseph), Richard, Brian, Jennifer and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Wrileigh, Cameron, Joshua, Logan, Nolan, Jeremy, Julia, Sophia, Adam III, Liam and Landon; siblings, Sharon and Joseph and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Dolores; son, Ronald III; grandson, Paul and also by his brothers Al, John, Robert, Raymond and William; sisters Kathy and Laurel.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Saturday, July 17 from 4-7pm. There will be no services.
