Ronald E. Brutcher, 78, of Cicero, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on February 17, 2019.
Ron was born in Syracuse. He retired from the NYS DOT after 32 years. He proudly served in the Marine Reserves as a tank driver. He coached over 25 years in youth baseball in Mattydale, North Syracuse and Cicero, changing the lives of many young men. He adored his family and loving wife of 54 years.
He was predeceased by his brother and best friend, Don C. Brutcher.
He is survived by his Wife, Joyce Brutcher; Two Sons, Donald Scott (Edith) Brutcher and Len Cole Brutcher; Four Grandsons, Aaron, Derek, Cole, Drew Brutcher; Two Sisters, Suzanne (Hans) Haselbacher and Kathy (John) Spier; Two Sister in Laws, Keitha Brutcher and Christy Lupole; Step Brother, Robert (Paulette) Kobus and Step Sister in Law, Sharon Kobus.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
