Ronald H. Brooks

Ronald H. Brooks, 72, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully December 11, 2023 surrounded by his family. Ronald was born in Watertown, New York on March 16, 1951 to Eugene and Ruth Brooks. Ronald proudly served in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam Era. Ronald retired from Onondaga Carpet, after 30 years of employed as an installer of all flooring types. He was a member of the Dexter American Legion, Post 557. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Eugene H. and Ruth B. Brooks; nephew, Christopher Brooks; two brothers, Richard and Roy Brooks; and sister, Rosemary.

He is survived by his sister, Norma (Eugene) Silva; niece, Sanita (Scott) Newcombe, four nephews, Dustin Silva, and Scott, Shawn, and John Barns; brother in law, Raymond Rockwell; and many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at 1PM at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215.
