Roman Samuel Sotherden

"They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true. We never wanted memories, We only wanted you."

Roman Samuel Sotherden passed in the loving arms of his parents on January 9th, 2024.

During his brief visit on earth Roman enjoyed listening to classical music, being held close by his parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncle all under the watchful eyes of his pets. During these short 27 days he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.

He leaves behind his mother Kayla Mills, his father Erik Sotherden, his maternal grandparents James and Darlene Mills, his paternal grandmother Kristen Van Woert, aunts Megan Mills, Lily Velasquez (Megan), Samantha Sotherden (Scott), uncle Scott Sotherden, cousin Zander Sotherden (Scott) and many extended family members. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Greg Sotherden.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 16th from 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse.
