Roland J. Pomerleau, Central Square, NY, 89 years passed away on December 18, in Sarasota, Florida at the Doctors Hospital after a sudden and brief illness.
Roland is pre-deceased by his wife Emmi who passed away in 2014.
Roland was proud to serve his country as a Marine at the end of WWII and participated in Honor Flight mission 7 this year.
Shortly before his passing he enjoyed flying in an open cockpit biplane over the Gulf of Mexico which highlighted his zest for life in spite of his age. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
