Roger Allen Turk, 90, of Cicero, passed away January 26, 2020.
Roger was born in North Bay, New York on February 1, 1929, to the late Harrison and Sarah Elsie Turk.
In his earlier years Roger was a farmer, and later owned and operated Brown & Turk Excavating in Cicero for many years.
He was an avid golfer, who loved traveling, and most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Lucille Turk; as well as his four brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Sacco, Shirley (Don) Jacobson, and Karen (Dan) Jacobson; grandchildren, Jill (Tim) Greenfield, Kristi Jacobson, Kelley (David) Russo, Dustin Jacobson, and Janelle Jacobson; 4 great-grandchildren; a partner, Ellie Caza; and many nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 30th, from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY 13212. A funeral service will take place Friday, the 31st, at 10am, at Cicero United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cicero United Methodist Church, or the Alzheimer's Association.
