Roger Kulpinski, 69, of Syracuse, New York; formerly of Canton, Pennsylvania and Point Pleasant, New Jersey went to be with the angels on January 15, 2019 after a brief but aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathy(Smith)Kulpinski; a brother, John T (Carol) Kulpinski; two sons, Roger Kulpinski, Jr. and Thomas Lawrence; two daughters, Theresa (Kevin) Kulpinski, Tammy (Jeff) Kulpinski, step-daughter Laura (Dana) Getek; three grandsons, Matthew, Nicholas, and Samuel; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents, John and Evelyn (Spencer) Kulpinski; Gertrude (Shepard) Kulpinski; two brothers, Stevie and Ray Kulpinski; and a sister Diane (Kulpinski) Gould.
In life, as in death, Roger was courageous and stubborn. He fought bravely and went peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Roger was a US Army Vietnam veteran who represented this great country that he loved so much; proudly with bravery and nobility. His love for God and country was matched only by the fierce love he held for his family. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for them. He was always trying to make everyone laugh.
He will be remembered as a courageous, loving, stern, and funny family man who will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
A memorial service will take place Friday, January 25th, 7pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
