Roger L. Elmer

Roger L. Elmer, 75, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by his family. He served in the US Marine Corps. Roger retired from General Motors. He loved golfing, playing poker with his friends and horse racing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandson.

Roger was predeceased by his sister, Fran Waldby; mother, Nona and father, James.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of 51 years; daughters, Tammie Beebe and Tricia Elmer; six grandchildren, Corey, Sean, Reina, Brett, Alyssa and Jesse; great-grandson, Jason; brother, James Elmer and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service and military honors to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Medical Center.
