Rodney E. Muench "Porky", 67, of Clay, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother went home to be with the Lord on Thursday. He retired from Liverpool Public Library. He loved his family, going to Florida in the winter, fishing, boating, telling great stories and making wood projects for his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Rodney is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy; his daughter, Erin (Andy) Rushford; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Chelsey and Isabella; his sisters, Sharon, Linda, Penny and Margaret; brother, Greg; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 5 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Hospital.
