Roderick P. "Rick" Forth, 85, of Central Square, passed away on Wednesday at St. Camillus Nursing Home.
He was born in Syracuse, on November 26, 1933, son of Charles and Millicent Forth.
Roderick was a Machinist at J. E. Miller, Inc., East Syracuse, and served in the US Army during the Korean and Gulf Wars.
Rick was an avid reader.
Roderick is survived by his wife, Carol A. Forth; children, Tyona (Joseph) Vryhof, Edward J. (Elizabeth) Forth, Rod Forth, Charles (Cindy) Forth, Cheryl Forth, Bernadette (Martin) Walker, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, John Forth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York.
