Robyn Ann Roberts

After two years of suffering and pain with cancer, the Lord healed her by taking her to heaven on Tuesday, November 28 , 2023 while at the Francis House. During her illness, Robyn received great support from her family and many friends, whom she loved dearly and who would call daily to help brighten her spirits.

Robyn was born in Rochester, NY to William and Jayne Koch. She attended and graduated from West Irondequoit HS in Rochester. Following high school, she attended Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, focusing on elementary education. While at Lycoming, she was a member of the college choir.

Her deep faith in the Lord led her to the North Syracuse Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, served as the Director of Vacation Bible School and facilitated various women's Bible studies.

Robyn is survived by her husband Richard and children; Jennifer ( Lloyd ) Chumbley who reside in Colorado Springs , CO ; Cameron ( Susha) Roberts who reside in St Cloud, FL ; Darren ( Lisa) Roberts who reside in Olathe, KS and Kiersten Roberts who resides in Rochester, NY. She has ten grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Robyn was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Jayne Koch, Rick (brother) and Susan( sister ), and Lauren Chumbley ( granddaughter).

Richard and Robyn joined hands and married on August 12, 1961 at the Baptist Temple in Rochester, NY and enjoyed 62 years of marriage.

Robyn was an active member of the Gideons Auxiliary, which provides Bibles to hotels, hospitals, and nursing homes . She never tired of spreading God's Word.

The Roberts family extends their greatest appreciation to the Hospice of Central New York and the Francis House for the outstanding love and care that they provided her.

Calling Hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Monday, December 11, 2023 from 10-11am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. Pastor Rob Burns from The Gathering Place will be officiating the service. Following the services, a private burial service will take place with the family members at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Warners, NY.
