March 30, 1965 — December 8, 2019

Robin (Ungleich) Ryan, 54, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Robin attended Cicero High School and graduated from Onondaga Community College with an Associate degree. She worked in the office of Dr. Sopp for many years.

Robin was a devoted mother, loving daughter, sister, aunt and a good friend. She had a big heart. Robin had a gift for cooking and delighted family and friends with delicious meals. Her meatballs were a family favorite and regularly requested.

She is survived by her father, Charles Ungleich; her son, Zachary (Shawna) Ryan; siblings, Wende (Maureen) and Eric (Nicole); her uncle, George; nephews, Kyler and Logan; "adopted sister" Taryn; and close friends, Chelsea and Mari K.

Robin was predeceased by her mother, Patricia Hobbs Ungleich.

Robin faced her diagnosis with courage and positivity. The family wishes to thank the staff at Francis House for the wonderful care given to Robin.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a time to share memories of Robin immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
