Robert P. Young

Robert "Bobby" P. Young, 55, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 23, 2023.

While his family and friends are shocked by his death, they are grateful for his life. Bobby was a solitary soul who enjoyed reading, a good movie and a bowl of ice cream. Never one to hold back his opinion, Bobby was always the first one to jump in and help a family member or friend in need. We will miss the warm sound of his laughter and his hugs. We find condolence in that he is now at peace and know in our hearts that we will meet again.

Bobby is survived by his son, Seth Young; mother, Judy Houghton-Barth; sisters, Christine (Peter) Curinga and Jennifer (Joshua) Winiarczyk-Nalle; along with his nieces, nephews, aunts and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 3-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with a sharing of memories at 4pm.
