Robert W. "Bob" Gowetzky, 75, formerly of Clay, passed away Monday.
He was born October 15, 1938 in Winton, PA to the late William and Helen (Nolan) Gowetzky.
Bob honorably served in the US Navy from 1957-1960 on the USS Intrepid.
He lived in Erie, PA before moving to Liverpool in 1968.
Bob retired in 2005 after 35 years at Packaging Corp.
Predeceased by his wife of 32 years Corinne; sisters, Jo Ann Clevenger and Delores Connors and an infant brother, William.
He is survived by his brother, Paul (Rita) Nolan of Arizona; several nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren and his beloved canine companion, Lucy.
Visitation will be 10 am-12 Noon on Thursday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 Noon on Thursday. Burial N. Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
