Robert A. Van Epps

Robert A. Van Epps, 60, of North Syracuse, passed away August 20, 2023. Robert was born in Adams, New York on December 24, 1962 to Shirley Houghmaster.

Robert worked for Cooper Electric. He was an avid sports fan and golfer. He loved spending time with his grandkids, especially going to Ben and Sophia's games. He truly enjoyed his scratch offs. Most of all he loved hanging out with his family and was very proud of his kids and grandkids.

He was preceded in death by Mother, Shirley Houghmaster; Sister, Charlene Paro; Brothers, Dean Van Epps and Walt Van Epps and Dale Van Epps.

Robert is survived by his Wife of 38 years, Kristine Schenosky; Two Sons, Robert (Kathryn) Van Epps and John Van Epps; Daughter, Krissy (Ryan) Van Epps; Grandchildren, Ben, Paige, Erin, Sophia and Gabriel; Two Sisters; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Family and friends may call on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse. A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am at St. Rose of Lima - 409 South Main Street, North Syracuse. Interment at North Syracuse Cemetery to follow.
