Robert “Happy Bobby” Thompson, 79, of Syracuse, passed away July 26, 2024.
Robert was born in Auburn, New York on February 15, 1945 to Roy and Agnes Thompson.
He was a devout member of a spiritual 12 step program that he loved with all his heart and created many connections through the fellowship. He truly lived happy, joyous and free.
He is survived by his loving companion of 24 years, Lorraine Weiler; children, Mary Woodman O’Hora, Billy Woodman, Haley Munn, Shawn Thompson and Bobby Thompson, Kelly Woodman and her mother, Lorraine Thompson; brother, Allen (Sandy) Thompson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 12-2PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A sharing of memories will follow at 2PM.
