Robert T. Verrette, 65 of Cicero, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long illness. He was a veteran of the Air Force and was employed with Onondaga County retiring in 2002. Robert was a volunteer for Contact and Literacy Volunteers. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Loretta
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia; four children, Benjamin (Kimberly), Alan, Nicholas (Kristin Kline) and Jean; two grandchildren, Michael and Jillian; four sisters, Jean (Bill) Brooker, Rita Arns, Patricia (Terrence) Doyle, Barbara (Terrence) Reiter; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Syracuse. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
