Robert J. Smith

Robert J. Smith, 55, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls. Robert was born on March 7, 1965 the son of the late Theodore A., Sr. & Patricia A. Smith. He previously worked at Hallmark Nursing Home in Minoa and Loretto as a nurses aid & Bristol Meyers in Connecticut.

Robert was a devoted father and grandfather. He loved to go camping and being on the water was his passion. Rob enjoyed drawing and at one time received an award from Walt Disney for his talents. Rob will always be remembered for his laughter, smile and his bubbly personality. He is very much loved and is going to be missed by his family and many friends.

Robert is survived by his daughters Alexis Smith (Neiko-grandson), Rebecca Smith (Payton-granddaughter), son Robert J. Smith, Jr, (Nadine-granddaughter), brothers Theodore (Rena) Smith, Jr., Sean (Allison) Smith, sisters Mary (Kevin) Mulhern, Elizabeth Perfetto and former spouse & good friend, Terriann (David) Muncy.

Calling hours will be held on Friday August 28, 2020 from 4-5 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse.
