Robert "Bob" Simone, 76, of North Syracuse, passed away November 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Syracuse, New York on February 21, 1945 to the late Ralph and Matilda Simone.
Bob was a machinist at Manth Brownell for many years. He was a man of God and loved the Lord. He loved target shooting with his father in law and black and white movies. Bob loved to eat, especially the flat bread from Columbus Bakery and his mother's bread.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Richard Simone, Michael Simone, and John Simone; and a step-daughter, Wendy Corl-Koch.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Simone; son, David (Pam) Simone; daughter, Dawn (David) Mosher; two step-sons, Randy (Lisa) Corl, and Chris (Christine) Corl; two brothers, Anthony (Lorraine) Simone, and Johnny "Louie" Simone; grandchildren, Shelby Simone, Sam Mosher, and MarLisa Mosher; Randy Jr., Luke, Dayton, Gabe, Marylyn, Lizzy, and Joey Corl; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Fenton, Luciano Martin, and Skyler Corl.
Calling hours are Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm at Believers' Chapel, 7912 Thompson Road, Cicero, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm.
Burial will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Cortland, New York on Sunday, November 14 at 2PM.
