Robert F. Sgroi, 92 of Kirkville, NY, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2022. Born on November 3rd, 1929 in Kirkville to the late Charles and Alice Sgroi.
He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He was a pipe fitter for NY Central Railroad for many years until his retirement. He was a "hobby" farmer, loved fishing, boating, hunting and spending time with his loving family.
He is survived by his children; Denise (Mark) Kingsley, Robert J. (Barbara) Sgroi, Thomas Sgroi and Dianne Lamanna; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rich, Fred and Frank Jr.
Memorial services will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chittenango on Friday, October 14th, 2022 at 10am. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chittenango.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
