Robert K. Schad

Robert "Bob" K. Schad, 75, of North Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, August 9th. Bob was born in Syracuse on May 11, 1948 son of the late Norbert and Dorothy Schad. He was self-employed in the Syracuse Area. Bob served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He was also a volunteer member of the Cicero Fire Dept. and an EMT with SOVAC. Bob was kind, loving, and generous to family and friends. Most of all, his laughter and sense of humor will be missed by all.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Nancy, his granddaughter, Ellen, and his brother, William Schad.

He is survived by his Three children, William (Debra) Schad, Leah (Jason) Murray, Kari (Scott) Hoffman, Eight grandchildren, Dillon, Aidan, Gavhn, Rowen, Ian, Nora, Anthony & Samuel, Three sisters; Dorothy Michels, Joan (Jim) Empey, Mary Lou (Doug) Fahey, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 15th from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will take place at North Syracuse Cemetery.
