Robert S. 'Bob' French, 84, of Cicero went to be with his Lord on Sunday. He was born on July 15, 1927 in Highbridge, NY, son of William and Florence Knight French. He worked for Accurate Die Casting in Fayetteville for 44 years. He retired from Clark Concrete. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, where he served as custodian for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Beverly (DeVore), three children; Thomas French, Metarie, LA, Rev. Ronald (Denise) French, Danville, PA, Terri L. Rommes, Cicero, three grandchildren, Aubrey French, Jeff and Corie Rommes.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 11am on Sat. January 7th from the Cicero United Methodist Church.
There are no calling hours.
