Robert "Bob" Rosato, 61, of Mexico, passed away peacefully at home with his son by his side on February 28, 2020.
Bob was born in Syracuse, New York on July 19, 1958 to the late James and Ruth Rosato. Bob served as a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corp and after his discharge he went to work for the USPS. He was an avid sports lover and devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family on his farm. He was known for his ability to light up any room he walked into and spread joy with his contagious laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Rosato; his children, Joshua Rosato, Corey Rosato, Patrick (Kate) Carrigan, Jennifer (Christian) Carmody; his four grandchildren; his sister, Alice (Glenn) Hinman-Milyon; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, James H. and Michael A. Rosato.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
