Robert J Robinson

Robert Joseph Robinson, 73, of Brewerton, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2019.

Robert was born in Syracuse, New York on July 8, 1946 to the late Frank and Anna Robinson. He graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy. Robert retired from Cooper Crouse Hinds in Syracuse where he was an electrician for 43 years. He served as a union steward and chairman of the E Board for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time at his camp in Williamstown and a longtime member of the Clay Sportsman's Club. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol (Wilburn) Robinson; son, Frank E Robinson; daughter, Julie A Robinson; brother, Francis Robinson; two sisters, Joan Desimone, and Charlotte Todzia; grandchildren, Sabrina and Jared Black, and Zane Robinson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, North Syracuse, NY 13212 with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your local Boys and Girls Club of America.
