Robert E. Reneau

Robert E. Reneau, 69, formerly of Camillus, NY and most recently of Kirkville, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 12:12 A.M. on July 8th. He served as a Tin Can Sailor in the US Navy for 6 years. Bob worked as a HVAC technician from 1973 until his retirement in 2015. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was dedicated to his family and friends, always putting others before himself. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Denise; children, Douglas (Heidi), Wendy (Scott) MacCue, Michael, Richard Butler-Reneau and Ginny; grandchildren, Corey, Alison, Jessica, Kailey, John, Meghan and Hayden; sisters, June (Stanley) LaFountain and Helen (Richard) Hall and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 13th 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. Burial will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Friends of Gettysburg Foundation in Robert's name.
