Robert "Bob" Reinhardt, 71, of Syracuse died peacefully at home after a long illness.
Born Feb. 27, 1943 in Syracuse, he worked more than 30 years for City of Syracuse DPW as their No. 1 Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Before his illness he was an avid sportsman including Moose and Caribou hunts in New Foundland and Labador as well as a huge NASCAR Fan.
Predeceased by his parents; two brothers and 3 sisters.
Survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Nancy; 4 daughters, Kellie, Sandy, Bobbijo and April, all of Syracuse and his stepson John of Canton, GA; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard; 3 sisters, DeeDee, Mabel and Ruth; plus several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-6pm Friday with a service at 6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice CNY or your favorite charity.
