Robert O'Connor Sr., 72, of Liverpool passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday morning. Born in Schenectady, NY he was a Service Technician with Eckland Business Systems for 30 years. His family will remember him as the true "Bob the Builder", always working on a family home project. His hobbies included traveling, RV's, model trains and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was a loving man always giving generously of himself.
He is survived by his wife; Lorraine (Gressler) O'Connor, sons; Robert Jr., (Susan), Timothy (Kimberly), his daughter; Colleen (Lewis) Kepler, a sister; Jean Kenney of California and his five grandchildren; Robert III, Caitlin, Timothy Jr., Kyle and Clayton.
Services will be held on Friday at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, S. Main St., North Syracuse. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
Contributions may be made to Humane Society of CNY.
