Robert W. Muller, 82, of Liverpool, passed away on Tuesday at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 25, 1932 in Richmond Hill, NY, son of the late William and Grace Muller. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, he was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University Class of 1954 and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1955. He coached Little League for several years and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his children.
Surviving are his beloved wife Madeline of 57 years, his children, Susan Sees, Debra (Greg) Shippee, Robert (Kerry) Muller, Kathy (Russ) St. Denny, Steven (Katie) Muller, 11 grandchildren, Kellie, Cody, Kasey, Greg, Hannah, Matthew, John, Christopher, Jeffrey, Evan & Rory, great grandson, Robby, 2 brothers, Richard (Jacki), Louis (Madeline) and sister, Elizabeth Detlefsen, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
Services will be held on Friday 10am at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 900 Vine St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
