Robert W. Kriesel Sr.

Robert W. Kriesel, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away October 11, 2024. Robert was born in Syracuse, New York on January 6, 1947 to Richard and Carmella Kriesel. Robert retired as a self employed general contractor. He was a devout Catholic and you could find him Sunday mornings in the front row at Mass. Robert was a restaurant connoisseur and enjoyed dining out with friends and family. He was a fashionista that loved shopping and buying exquisite shoes. He loved traveling with his wife, Pat. His most recent trips included traveling to the Panama Canal and the Mississippi River. His heart belonged in Largo Florida where he and his wife, Pat, spent many New York winters. His family and friends were the joy of his life. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard and sister, Regis. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia (Tubbert) Kriesel; children, Dawn (Jack) Perry, Laura (Erin) Kriesel and Robert (Deanna) Kriesel Jr.; six grandchildren, Christina (Scott) Hoag, John (Bethany) Perry Jr., Jesse (Sarah) Perry, Jeremy (Kelly) Perry, Emma Kriesel and Hanna Kriesel; six great grandchildren; four brothers in law; and two sisters in law. He was adored by his loving nieces and nephews who called him "Uncle Buck", "Uncle Leroy", and "FU" (Favorite Uncle). 

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 17th, 2024 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning at 9AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be made in Assumption Cemetery. 

In honor of Robert's exquisite fashion sense and love of color, the family requests to wear your most colorful outfit. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to Hope for Bereaved.
