Robert (Bob) Kocher January 11, 2019
Robert (Bob) Kocher, 83, of Cicero, passed away after a long battle with complications of diabetes.
Bob was born in Syracuse, NY and retired from the Cicero Highway Dept. after 35 years. He served in the Korean War. He was a life member of the Cicero Fire Dept. for over 55 years and held positions of Fire Commissioner, Lieutenant and President. Bob will be forever known as the guy that would help anyone at any time no matter who you were.
He was predeceased by his parents Milford (Annabell) Kocher of Clay, NY and his wife Virginia (Walden) Kocher of DeRidder, LA.
Surviving are his son Timothy (Pam) Kocher of Alexandria Bay, NY; grandchildren: Timothy Jr. (Amy) Kocher of Las Vegas, NV; Anna Craven of Cicero, NY; Kirstie (Reggie) Carter of Las Vegas, NV; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 19th from 2-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, followed by a Celebration of Life from 5-7pm at the Cicero Vol. Fire Dept.
Donations can be made in Bobs name to the Cicero Volunteer Fire Dept. 8377 Brewerton Rd. Cicero, NY 13039
