Robert E. "Bob" Keyes

Robert E. "Bob" Keyes, 81, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Bob was born in Syracuse on May 21, 1942, son of the late Robert and Lucille Keyes. Robert retired from New Process Gear. Bob loved tinkering around the house and spending time with his grandchildren. He also made sure the neighborhood was safe and secure. He also enjoyed fishing and softball while living in Florida. 

Robert was predeceased by his first wife of 14 years, Patricia Keyes; his son, Patrick Keyes; and four sisters, Marion Lamont, Theresa Keyes, Kathy Staffa, and Roberta Keyes. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Keyes; children, Robert Earl (Gerry) Keyes, Kim (Saul) Keyes-Guerrero, and Tim (Kylie) Keyes; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Lucas, Nicholas, Deric, Ella, Addison, Corbin, and Callan; one brother, Bill Keyes; two sisters, Marie Mastracco and Suzanne Keyes; along with several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10am at Holy Family Church, Camillus. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. There will be no calling hours.
