Robert N. Guiles, 89, of Cicero passed away on Saturday at James Square Nursing Home.
He was born on June 15, 1925 in Adams, NY and served in the US Navy during WW II. He retired from Bristol Myers after 30 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 787 in Cicero. Bob enjoyed bowling, was in numerous golf leagues and loved his dogs, cars and boats. He was a noted story teller, leaving his family with many cherished memories. He will be remembered for helping friends and family especially with car repairs and home repairs.
He was predeceased by his son Gary Guiles.
Surviving are his wife Nila, his son Toby Guiles, daughter-in-law, Patricia (Wooley) Guiles4 grandchildren; Christopher, Kelly, Jason & Sara, along with a great-grandson, George.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-5pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
