Robert E. Glennon Sr.
February 7, 1949 — January 20, 2018
Robert E. Glennon Sr., 68, of East Syracuse, passed away on Saturday with his family by his side. Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Brewerton Fire Department. Robert worked at Crucible Steel for several years.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of many years, Hazel; three children, Eleanor, Robert II (Grace) and Jenny; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Michael, Khali, Nathaniel, Lexus and Aidan; great-granddaughter, Madalynn; three sisters; two brothers and several nieces and nephews.
His pride and joy was his eight grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Syracuse. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
