Robert Francis "Bob" Gallipeau Jr, 66, passed away on December 17, 2018 at home.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Gallipeau, in 2017, and he missed her dearly.
Born October 27, 1952, in Syracuse New York, he was the son of Robert and Dorienne Gallipeau.
He was a dedicated employee of Loretto in the maintenance department for more than 40 years, where he applied his passion for fixing things.
He had a love of cars, especially Broncos, and enjoyed working on them most his life. He had a passion for hockey, and supported the Syracuse Crunch from the beginning. During the summer months he would spend much of his free time in the woods camping.
Robert will be greatly missed by his sons Robert (Melody) Gallipeau III, George Gallipeau, Jason (Seth) Gallipeau, his brother and sister, George (Nanette) Gallipeau and Anne (Kevin) Ventura, and three grandchildren Maddie, Robert IV, and Gunnar.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 1-4pm at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse, with services to follow at 4pm.
Burial will be private.
